Eager dog hijacks weather report; weatherman breezes through it

King, a one-year-old American bulldog mix, was only supposed to appear on an adoption segment for WTVJ, a NBC-owned station in Miami.

But he did his chances of an early adoption no harm after he ambushed Ryan Phillips' weather report on Saturday, especially when the canine tried to lick him.

Shouldn't have left those steak treats in your pocket, Ryan.

Let's hope it helped find the inquisitive pooch a home. It worked for Ripple, a one-year-old Shepherd-Mastiff cross, who became an Internet sensation after a rambunctious segment with Global's Mike Sobel.
