Dublin Marathon: Lego Man building toward glory

The Dublin Marathon kicked off today for the 35^th year.

There were over 14,000 people from 47 different countries taking part with the overall winner being Kenya's Eliud Too with a very impressive time of 2:14:47.

Twitter inevitably had it’s say on the race.

Some Tweeters offered support.

Some retold their own success stories of Marathons are gone by, including our own leader.

However there was one runner captured on camera who was a lone representative for his nation.

Lego Man.

We’re not sure where Lego Man finished, or even if he crossed the line but we can only assume he was kept going by the now universal Lego theme ‘Everything Is Awesome’.
