One granddad from Limerick has plummeted 10,000 feet - all in the name of charity.

78-year-old Michael Sheahan wanted to raise the money for University of Limerick’s Adrienne Hussey Scholarship, which researches brain aneurysms. His wife Evelyn died from a cranial aneurysm in July.

This is just one of many events organised by Michael and his sons since Evelyn passed away, but he says they "want to do more".

"One thing I’ve been amazed by is the amount of people who have been affected by aneurysms."
