One Direction mania hit Ireland last night — and it put all the fuss about Canadian hearthrob Justin Bieber into the ha’penny place.

One Direction fans stay ‘Up All Night’ to get to the front at O2 gig

Fans of the five-piece, which has Irish member Niall Horan in its ranks, camped out outside Dublin’s O2 in the freezing cold on Monday night to make sure they would get upfront positions for last night’s sold-out show.

The band will play Dublin again tonight before heading to Belfast for more shows over the weekend. They will return to the O2 for a couple of more gigs next week.
