Prowler at Cruise home was a drunk neighbour

A prowler at Tom Cruise’s house was hit by a stun gun fired by a security guard — but he turned out to be a drunk neighbour who may have entered the property mistakenly.

The confrontation occurred at Cruise’s Beverly Hills home in Los Angeles when the actor and his family were out. The guard saw Jason Sullivan, 41, “climbing a fence to gain access to the property” and used the stun gun to detain him for police.

The man was identified as a neighbour who lives in an adjacent property, and was intoxicated at the time. He was taken into custody for trespassing and treated in hospital.
