Irish influencer Charleen Murphy has been ‘dumped’ from the Love Island villa after an unexpected recoupling on Tuesday night’s episode.

The nation was shocked to see the 27-year-old influencer leave the villa just over a week after entering as one of the Casa Amor bombshells.

During her time at Casa Amor, she grew close to Kavan Murphy, who was coupled up with Jasmine in the main villa but had decided to press pause on their blossoming romance just before entering Casa.

Kavan brought Charleen back to the main villa but soon after rekindled his romantic connection with Jasmine.

During Tuesday's episode, a shock recoupling was announced that forced the boys to choose their partners, which saw Kavan choose to couple up with Jasmine over Charleen, leaving her to pack her bags.

Fellow Casa bombshell Mara Piraz was also sent home on Tuesday night’s episode.

“Mara and Charleen, you are now single and dumped from the villa, please say your goodbyes,” a text announced.

When saying their goodbyes, Jasmine embraced Charleen, saying: “You deserve better, you honestly do.” Rumours had sparked about Charleen, who has 529k followers on Instagram and 495k followers on TikTok, entering the Love Island video after she posted on social media about taking a trip abroad back in June.

A post about Charleen’s dumping on the Love Island Instagram account read: “She came, she Casa’d and she coupled up with Kavan. But sadly, their connection was short lived. As Kav has rekindled with Jasmine, Charleen is single and has been dumped from Love Island.”

Fans flooded the comment section with messages of congratulations for Charleen.
