The crowd was wowed by the sheer scale of the heights reached by Christy Moore, a musical giant who thankfully still deems to walk among us. 

From the capacity audience's tumultuous volley of applause as he walked on stage, through to the inevitable standing ovation at the close, the royal welcome was fitting indeed for Ireland´s crowned king of folk.
