Taylor Swift has said it can get “a little bit weird” when her fans go to “extreme” lengths to try to decipher hidden meanings behind her songs.

The US pop star reflected on how she has to “hold tight” to her perception of her music, as her fanbase often overanalyses aspects of her songs and turns them into a “paternity test”.
