“Aran is cast alongside Sharon Horgan, Rupert Friend, Sharlene Whyte and Robbie Gee.

“The series follows a 50-year-old divorcee’s search for sex and love whilst juggling caring for her ailing parents and parenting her should-be grown-up son.”Â
Horgan also writes and executive produces the series, alongside additional executive producers Faye Dorn, Jim Kleverweis, and Dawn Shadforth, who will also direct.
Proud dad Cillian Murphy recently told the Irish Examiner: “He’s just a massive fan of film and television and theatre. It’s not really a surprise that he would find his way into it. I’m just happy to support him and let him off, find his own way in it.”
