Irish actor Brad Pitt has been spotted in Dublin this week, filming for his new film
The 62-year-old, who was spotted at Bullock Harbour in Dalkey, will be on Irish soil for the next two weeks while shooting scenes for the upcoming big-screen adaptation of Tim Winton’s 1994 novel
The A24 production marks a major collaboration between Pitt and acclaimed director Edward Berger.
The story is partly set in Ireland, making the country a key backdrop for the adaptation, and filming is expected to take place across several Irish locations, with additional production reportedly planned in Dublin, Wicklow, Cork, and Kerry.

The actor will be joined on screen by Julianne Nicholson, best known for her roles in and and newcomer Coco Greenstone.
The film centres on a father named Fred Scully, played by Pitt, who, after travelling through Europe for two years, buys an old farmhouse in rural Ireland and decides to renovate it.
Scully spends weeks alone while his partner, Jennifer, returns to Australia to liquidate his assets, but when Scully arrives at the airport in Ireland to pick up Jennifer and their daughter, Billie, he realises Jennifer is missing and embarks on a desperate search for her.
Fans hoping to get a glimpse of the Oscar winner while in Ireland will need to be quick, as he will only be in the country for two weeks before he jets off again.
Pitt is set to arrive on the Greek island of Hydra in late February for the production, which is filming in multiple locations across Europe.
Confirming the project, the Mayor of Hydra, Giorgos Koukoudakis, announced that “hundreds” of cast and crew members will arrive on the island for filming.
The Greek portion of the shoot is expected to continue into mid-March.
