My kids have been banging on about YouTube superstar Mr Beast (AKA Jimmy Donaldson) for ages. They were glued to season one of his reality show Beast Games, so as season two dropped this week, I said I’d get glued with them and see what all the fuss is about.
I’m glad I did. Beast Games is a cross between Squid Game and Ireland’s Fittest Family, except the contestants don’t face death or a pep talk from Davy Fitzgerald.
