Christy Moore and Joanne McNally have upcoming live shows in January.

Biffy Clyro, 3Arena, January 10 

Biffy Clyro will embark on a UK and Ireland headline arena tour in January, following the release of their album Futique back in September. The tour will see the band bring their live show to cities including Dublin, Belfast, London, Birmingham, and Manchester, before concluding with a hometown performance in Glasgow.

Christy Moore, Killashee Hotel, Naas, January 9 and 15 

Folk singer-songwriter Christy Moore is set to play two sold-out gigs at Killashee Hotel in Naas this month. Moore will take to the stage at the hotel, guitar in hand, on January 9 and January 15, before returning to Vicar Street for a four-night run in February.

The Fureys, University Concert Hall, Limerick, January 17 

After decades of performances, The Fureys bid farewell with their final tour, The Fureys Farewell Tour. The tour will see the legends of music and song play venues across the country in the coming months, including University Concert Hall in Limerick on January 17.

Foster & Allen, National Opera House, Wexford, January 22 

International recording artists Foster & Allen are celebrating 50 years in the music business with a concert tour of Ireland, from January to March.

The 50 Years Of Hits concert will be filled with all the songs that made the duo famous all over the world, and will see them play gigs in Galway, Cavan, Belfast, Westmeath, Wicklow, Dublin, and Tipperary in January, and Cork, Kerry and Limerick in February.

Mentalist, author, and entertainer Keith Barry is bringing his new tour Keith Barry Unhinged — 25 Years Inside Your Minds, to Cork Opera House. Celebrating 25 years of his magic, hypnosis, and brainhacking, Barry is back where it all began — live on stage, unleashing the best of 25 years with new, never-before-seen material.

Never Going Back There, The Everyman, January 24 

Hunters Moon Theatre brings Never Going Back There, a new Irish play that depicts the story of a powerful Irish woman who would not allow religion, or the Magdalene laundries, to define her, to the Everyman stage on January 24. Based on a true story, Never Going Back There by Philip O’Byrne exposes the stranglehold that religion had on Irish people in the 60s and 70s and the determination of one young woman to break that hold.

Jenny Greene, Cyprus Avenue, January 24 

One of the country’s most respected selectors after 20 years at the forefront of the Irish dance music scene, Jenny Greene is set to bring her energetic set to Cyprus Avenue in Cork.

Joanne McNally, Cork Opera House, January 26 to 31 

Queen of Irish comedy Joanne McNally brings her new tour Pinotphile to Cork Opera House from January 26 to January 31. The new tour follows the success of McNally’s hit show The Prosecco Express, which saw her touring across the UK, Ireland, Australia, Dubai, Canada, and the US.

The High Kings, Gleneagle Arena, Killarney, January 30 

The High Kings will play the Gleneagle Arena in Killarney on January 30.

Finbarr Clancy, Darren Holden, Paul O' Brien and Brian Dunphy are set to bring their Rocky Road Tour to the Gleneagle Arena (INEC) in Killarney at the end of the month, as part of a wider tour which will see them play multiple venues across the country in January and February.

Ewan McVicar, 3Arena, January 30 and 31 

Fresh from a monumental summer that saw him headline Creamfields’ HALO stage and deliver a show-stopping final set at Electric Picnic, Ewan McVicar is bringing his unstoppable energy to the 3Arena. Due to high demand, McVicar will play two nights at the venue, with special guests Erol Alkan on Friday, January 30, and DART on Saturday, January 31.
