A good Agatha Christie story should feel both familiar and surprising, and this one has a chance to pull that off. Adapted for TV by the guy behind Broadchurch, this features Helena Bonham-Carter and Martin Freeman. If the detective doesn’t gather the likely suspects into a room and start his spiel with “I’ve gathered you here this evening”, then I want my money back.
