1. Landline Dark Blue (2017) by Sean Scully sells for $1,512,000

The highest price paid for a work by an Irish artist in 2025 was the $1,512,000 secured for Seán Scully’s oil on aluminium painting Landline Dark Blue (2017) at Phillips Modern & Contemporary Art Evening Sale, New York on May 13.
