Kings of Leon announce summer show at Limerick's Thomond Park

Kings of Leon will play Thomond Park in 2026.

Electric Picnic 2025 headliners Kings of Leon have announced a summer show at Limerick’s Thomond Park Stadium next summer.

Recognised as one of the world's biggest alternative rock bands of the last 20 years, Kings of Leon’s tour history includes headlining festivals such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Reading and Leeds, Lollapalooza in Berlin, Sao Paulo, Chicago, and Santiago, and multiple open-air Irish concerts, including Slane Castle in 2011.

The band was also the Sunday night headliners at last year’s Electric Picnic festival, taking to the stage at Stradbally in front of thousands of fans.

Next summer, Kings of Leon will return to Ireland to play Thomond Park on Wednesday, July 1, with support from four-piece Florence Road.

Since their debut in 2003, Kings of Leon have released nine albums and received eight Grammy Award nominations, three Grammy wins, three NME Awards, two Brit Awards, and one Juno Award.

Tickets for the band’s Thomond Park gig are priced €89.75 and €99.75, and are available now via Ticketmaster.ie.
