Patrick Kielty is gearing up for his third Toyshow and a crew headed by Captain Cork are putting the final checks in place in a new trailer released today.

Captain Cork is leading the charge and making sure every last detail is in shipshape ahead of this year's Toy Show

It’s nearly time for the most magical night of the year for Irish children — and Cork is front and centre.

Patrick Kielty is gearing up for his third Toy Show in a brand-new trailer released today, with none other than 'Captain Cork', played by Kabin Crew's Clara O'Riordan-Cummins, leading the charge and making sure every last detail is in shipshape.

In the 60-second clip, Kielty and his crew of astronauts beam into homes from Sydney to London to Mayo — and of course right here in Cork — to ensure “every household” is ready for touchdown on on Friday, December 5.

For the first time on RTÉ, Audio Description will be available live during The Late Late Toy Show on Friday, 5 December, making it more accessible than ever and ensuring that its wonder can be shared universally. 

Live Irish Sign Language (ISL) interpretation will also be available on the night on the RTÉ News Channel and on RTÉ Player.
