Luke Combs will play Slane Castle next year.

US country star Luke Combs has been confirmed for the first Slane Castle gig in three years next summer.

This will be Comb’s second time in Ireland, having sold out both the 3Arena and Belfast’s SSE Arena in October 2023.

The gig, which will take place on July 18, will be the first gig at the historic venue in Meath since Harry Styles graced the stage in 2023kets .

The gig is part of a wider tour for Combs, which will see him make stops across North America and Europe, including in Gothenburg, Paris, Amsterdam, Toronto, Columbus, and Las Vegas.

When are tickets on sale?

Tickets, priced from €121.25, including booking fee, go on general sale at 10am on Friday, October 17 from Ticketmaster.

Can I get presale tickets?

Yes, a Luke Combs Bootleggers Presale takes place for fans from 10am local time on Tuesday, 14 October.

This can be accessed via the singer’s website here, just choose your preferred date from his schedule to access tickets early. Fans are encouraged to sign up before the deadline to boost their chances of landing tickets.

The MCD promoter presale will then go on sale on Wednesday, October 15 at 10am and fans can sign up here. 

Is there a ticket limit to see Luke Combs in Slane?

Tickets for the show at Slane Castle are limited to eight per transaction.

What songs is Combs likely to perform?

Combs recently returned with The Prequel, a three-song collection featuring My Kinda Saturday Night, 15 Minutes,and Days Like These. The North Carolina native has hinted at more new music before he touches down in Ireland, with a new album reportedly slated for early next year.

Fans can expect to hear tracks from his upcoming sixth studio album, including the single Back in the Saddle.

He is also expected to play tracks from his back catalogue, including hit cover Fast Car, Where the Wild Things Are, Beautiful Crazy, and When It Rains It Pours.

Speaking on the tour, Combs said: “We’re going to eight different countries, bringing along a ton of great support, and by then will have a lot of new music to play.” 

Who are the special guests?

The Script will serve as very special guest performers on the Irish stop of the tour at Slane Castle. Also on the bill is one of country music’s brightest young stars, 18-year-old Ty Myers. Singing sister trio The Castellows will also take to the stage to kick off proceedings on the day.

Where is Slane Castle?

Slane Castle is set in the middle of a 1,500-acre estate in the heart of the Boyne Valley, in Co Meath.

Slane Castle overlooks the River Boyne, just a few kilometres upstream from Newgrange and the site of the famous Battle of the Boyne.

The venue is about a one-hour drive from Dublin, a three-hour drive from Cork, two two-hour and 30-minute drive from Galway and a one-hour and 30-minute drive from Belfast.
