Taylor Swift fans will be getting an early Christmas present this December.

The billionaire popstar announced today she will release a six-part docuseries bringing fans behind the scenes of her record-breaking The Era’s Tour.

The tour, which came to Dublin's Aviva Stadium for three nights in 2024, saw Swift play 149 concerts in 53 cities across five continents.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Swift wrote: "It was the End of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down”.

Swift also revealed the final show was filmed in its entirety, including the full Tortured Poets Department set (this was not included in her previously released The Era’s Tour movie, which was filmed before the release of her 11th album).

The first two episodes of The End of an Era will premiere on Disney+ on December 12, with another two landing on December 19 and the final two coming to streaming on St Stephen's Day.

The news comes as her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, became the most-streamed album on its release day with 12.2 million streams achieved.

The album also set a new record as the highest-selling vinyl release in a single day and week.
