Live at the Marquee confirms first act and 2026 dates for Cork festival

Live at the Marquee will return to Cork next summer and has announced its first act for 2026.
Fresh from Electric Picnic, David Gray confirmed he will perform two nights at the festival as part of his Past & Present World Tour. His Cork shows will take place on June 13 and 14, 2026.
“We’ve had the most amazing tour this year, from the opening night in Boston to the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, and then on to the Royal Albert Hall in London and the 3Arena in Dublin," Gray says.
"These have been some of the most memorable and magical shows of my entire career. We’ve pushed ourselves as a band but it’s been richly rewarding and so much fun! When everyone is in such fine form it would seem wrong to stop the ball from rolling - so with that in mind I’m delighted to announce a string of further dates for the summer of 2026. Exciting times!”
The singer will be supported by The Divine Comedy during his tour.
As well as the Cork dates, Gray announced appearances at SSE Arena in Belfast for June 16, and Fairview Park, Dublin, on June 17.
Tickets for Cork go on sale on Friday, September 5 at 10am from Ticketmaster.ie.

Meanwhile, fresh from their appearance at Electric Picnic over the weekend, Kneecap revealed details of two Kerry gigs for later this year. The hugely-popular rap trio will play the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney on December 12 and 13.
