Comedian Michael McIntyre is set to bring his relatable, well-oiled jokes to the Live at the Marquee stage this summer.
The comedy genius will perform his show 'Macnificent' at the tented venue in Cork on Friday, July 25, and Saturday, July 26.
McIntyre’s big break came when he performed at the televised 2006 Royal Variety Performance.
Since then, he has become one of the most successful comedians in the world, with his tours selling over four million tickets.
He holds the record for the highest-selling artist at London's 02, the UK's biggest arena, for 33 sold-out shows.
McIntyre hosted 'Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow' from 2009 on BBC One. The series received BAFTA nominations and won the National Television Award for Best Entertainment Programme in 2012.
In 2016, he began hosting the hit BBC One show 'Michael McIntyre's Big Show' which has won several awards including a BAFTA for Best Entertainment Performance.
In 2020, he devised and hosted the hit BBC One gameshow 'Michael Mcintyre's The Wheel' which went on to be nominated for BAFTA and NTA Awards.
The comedian has also written two bestselling autobiographies Life & Laughing and A Funny Life.
