Clare-based artist and lecturer Amanda Dunsmore has been announced as the National Gallery of Ireland’s Portrait Prize winner.

Ms Dunsmore’s filmed video portrait titled ‘Lydia,’ Dr Lydia Foy was revealed as the winning portrait during a prize-giving ceremony at the gallery this week and her work will now be exhibited, along with all other shortlisted entries, at the National Gallery of Ireland until March 9, 2025.
