Not quite ready to call it a day yet, The Wolfe Tones have added one more summer stadium gig to their farewell tour.

Billed as ‘The Final Farewell’, Brian Warfield, Noel Nagle, and Tommy Byrne will perform at Limerick’s Thomond Park on July 13, 2025.

“We're very grateful to be invited back for a massive stadium concert at the famed Thomond Park Stadium, Limerick,” they said when announcing the gig.

After over 60 years together, The Wolfe Tones are nearing the end of their time ‘On The One Road’, marking the band's conclusion with an anniversary and retirement tour.

The tour included sold-out nights in Cork, Kerry, Belfast and beyond for the rebel balladeers. They also performed on the main stage at Electric Picnic, drawing the largest-ever recorded crowd at the festival.

Earlier this month the trio played their last indoor gigs — and what were thought to be their last ever gigs — with three sold-out nights in Dublin’s 3Arena.

“We have been completely overwhelmed by the reaction to the recent shows at the 3Arena, Dublin, and SSE Arena, Belfast," said Brian Warfield.

"All shows sold out very fast and we know that a lot of people were left disappointed they could not see The Wolfe Tones for one last time. We are truly humbled, and the demand to see the group in a major outdoor setting for a final time has been immense.

"We are therefore delighted to have the opportunity to perform in a major stadium concert at the famed Thomond Park on Sunday, July 13, 2025. It will be the final farewell and goodbye to all our friends, so let’s do it in true Limerick style!”

Tickets for their last Irish show are priced at €49.90 and €59.90 and go on sale Monday, October 28 at 9am from Ticketmaster. Pre-sale access will be available from October 25.
