Cork Film Festival announces closing film and return of star director

Two of Cork’s famous sons will make a return of sorts for the city’s film festival in November. UK-based John Crowley will be back on Leeside to attend the Irish premiere of his latest film, while will get a special screening at the festival where it originally had its premiere.
Douglas native Crowley will introduce the first Irish viewing of , at the Everyman on Saturday, November 9, and the following day he will participate in a discussion at Triskel Christchurch about his impressive career. The 55-year-old broke through with in 2003, and has also directed such films as (2015) and (2019).
