One of Ireland's most anticipated annual television events, The Late Late Toy Show, is set to air on Friday, December 6 and this year promises an exciting new twist.

For the first time in the show's history, children from every county in Ireland will take part in the Late Late Toy Show County Parade, marking a historic moment as all 32 counties will be represented on screen.

The parade will showcase children from every corner of Ireland, giving them a chance to shine on the biggest night of Irish TV.

The show's producers emphasised that this is all about celebrating county pride, not just talent.

"We’re looking for children who are passionate about their county," said producers. "It’s not about being the best singer or dancer; it’s about having county pride in buckets!"

The Late Late Show team is currently accepting applications, encouraging children to share why they love their county and take the chance to represent it live on the Toy Show.

Whether cheering for Clare, marching for Mayo, or freestyling for Fermanagh, young participants have the opportunity to show their enthusiasm for their local heritage.

Host Patrick Kielty also expressed his excitement for the upcoming County Parade saying it could be "the best craic of the night".

"32 counties, 32 kids, live in studio on the biggest TV night of the year – I mean, what could possibly go wrong?" Kielty joked.

The deadline for applications is fast approaching, with hopefuls urged to submit their entries by Wednesday, October 2nd.

For those eager to get involved, applications can be submitted via the official website at www.rte.ie/latelate.
