Ian McKellen has said he will continue to work “as long as the legs and the lungs and the mind keep working” after he fell from the stage earlier this year.

The 85-year-old actor lost his footing whilst performing in Player Kings in June at the Noel Coward Theatre, breaking his wrist and chipping a vertebrae.
