Every year, there is a long list of prohibited items for Electric Picnic. Last year, the big one was disposable vapes, with the organisers saying at the time that they are difficult to recycle and can be hazardous if they are not in the correct waste steam. As a result, a decision to ban the popular vapes was made in order to “protect the land” of the festival site.
Alcohol is allowed at the campsite (not the arena) but is limited to 48 cans per person. Glass bottles are also not allowed so remember to decant any spirits into a plastic bottle. Glass items under 100ml — like perfume and makeup — are allowed.
The full list of banned items is available on the Electric Picnic website.

At the time of writing, it’s not looking like a bad weekend at all – though let’s not jinx it.
According to Met Eireann, Friday will see highs of 18 degrees, with the lowest temperature during the day at 14 degrees. It looks like the majority of the day will be nice and clear.
Overnight temperatures will drop to between 12 and 13 degrees, before rising up to about 18 degrees on Saturday.
The early hours of Sunday will be slightly warmer at 12-13 degrees and though it’s looking cloudy, temperatures will peak at about 19 degrees once again.
Tickets for Electric Picnic 2025 will go on sale on Wednesday, August 21 at 9am. Prices haven’t yet been revealed.
