Jorja Smith

A Mercury Prize-nominated English singer-songwriter who released her third album Falling or Flying last year, Jorja Smith plays her first show of the year at All Together Now. She’s the master of a couple styles of music, from slow and swooning, like the title track of her debut album Lost & Found, to pulsating groove: See Little Things and the remix with Nia Archives. The brilliant lofi video of the remix drew out the worst of the internet as people commented on Smith’s weight. She told the Guardian last year: “There’s loads of talk about my weight, which is actually crazy. Because, right, I’m 26. I’m not 18. I’ve never ever been super-skinny – I’ve been slimmer, but I’ve also been younger, and a kid.”
