Electric Picnic: New names added to 2024 line-up including CMAT and Bambie Thug
CMAT and Bambie Thug have been added to the line-up for Electric Picnic 2024.
Following the release of the headliners for this year’s festival, Electric Picnic has added some new names to the line-up, including Cork’s own Bambie Thug.Â
With just six weeks to go until the Stradbally festival returns with a slightly earlier August date, organisers have revealed 10 more acts who will perform over the three-day weekend.
Following on from her performance in 2022, CMAT will take to the Electric Picnic stage once again while Lankum will make their Picnic debut.Â
Eurovision finalist Bambie Thug and fellow Cork natives Cardinals are also among the new acts, as well as two-time Eurovision winner, Loreen, from Sweden.
The weekend of 16 -18 of August marks Electric Picnic’s 20th anniversary and rather fittingly, The Stranglers will take their 50th anniversary tour to the festival too.
Festival-goers will also have the chance to catch a podcast from Blindboy and music from daydreamers and Zimmer90.
In April, the festival announced its first round of the 2024 line-up, with names such as Kylie Minogue, Noah Kahan and Calvin Harris.

The sold-out festival returns to Stradbally from August 16-18, which is earlier than its usual September slot.
Friday's headliners include pop superstars Noah Kahan and Gerry Cinnamon; while Saturday will see Calvin Harris and Kodaline taking to the Main Stage.
Sunday will bring pop royalty to Laois with Kylie Minogue, while breakout star Raye will complete the billing.
The festival will welcome 75,000 music fans to Stradbally Estate for the weekend.
