A new series of concerts is coming to the Lee Rowing Club this August with a wide range of acts set to perform, including musicians, DJS, comedians and storytellers.

Magic Nights By The Lee will take place over the course of four weekends in August, kicking off on Friday, August 9 until Sunday, August 31.

The line-up includes Irish acts such as Cormac Begley, The 4 Of Us, The Frank & Walters, John Spillane, Donal Dineen, and more.

Located at the Marina in Cork city — a stone’s throw from the current Live at the Marquee location — the Lee Rowing Club will be transformed into a one-of-a-kind pop-up venue for the concert series.

The first night will see one of Cork’s newest outfits, Smithereens deliver an electrifying start to the series with a high-octane, jazz-meets-funk live show. On August 10, DJ and producer Shane Johnson is joined by special guests Stevie G and soul singer AbbieLee while Irish band The 4 Of Us will bring the first weekend to a close.

Other events will include Fizzy Orange with special guest Sam Healy for a night blending 60s songwriting, 70s studio sounds, soul and rock and roll; an evening with acclaimed singer-songwriter John Spillane and Donal Dineen's 'Backstory' club nights which will merge dance floor flavours from around the globe.

The final weekend will be a celebration of music featuring some of Ireland’s finest talents such as concertina player Cormac Begley and The Frank & Walters.

If heading along to the gigs, organisers encourage attendees to leave the car at home and use the local bus and cycling routes that are available in the area.

Magic Nights By The Lee is presented by The Good Room, who are known for similar musical events such as Live at St Luke’s.
