After seven years and one pandemic, Belfast-born and London-based electronic duo Bicep have made their long-anticipated return to Cork, and what a time for them to arrive.

With many concertgoers arriving off the back of Sunday morning’s Cork City Marathon, they’ve descended onto Live at the Marquee for a truly deserving musical celebration.

As the gates fill with veteran ravers, tonight’s crowd arrive in style with bright colours and eccentric style setting the theme for this evening’s dress code.

Childhood friends Matt McBriar and Andy Ferguson have landed at this year’s tent to debut their audiovisual DJ Set Chroma, joined by an impressive lineup including Joy Orbinson, Sally C, and Munster’s own Shee.

Tonight’s amalgamation of stellar acts is reflected in the audience, with its diverse lineup targeting a range of demographics.

Kerry native Shee showcases his ability to perform across the techno spectrum. His undying energy sets the tone for the rest of the night.

After him is Belfast-born and Berlin-based Sally C, who brings with her an electric energy felt across the Marquee tent and beyond. Her blend of vintage house and futuristic techno makes her a standout in this evening’s lineup.

Following her is UK-based DJ and producer Peter O’Grady aka Joy Orbinson, who shows what he’s made of by demonstrating his impressive marriage of garage, funk, and dubstep, which is received well by tonight’s crowd.

As an evening of adrenaline-pumping performances from tonight’s openers end, it’s time for the men of the hour to take to the stage.

Following hours of crowd-pleasing warm-ups, tonight’s main acts draw all ticket holders to the centre of the tent. The Marquee is quickly electrified and united in its excitement to witness this evening’s honorary guests.

With neon lights, an unmatched sound system, and an audiovisual adventure never before seen in the Marquee tent, tonight’s gig is a wild and one-of-a-kind assault on the senses.

The crowd is electrified and the tent has never felt so dense. As Bicep’s beats send tremors through the crowd, you cannot help but to dance.

The party is well and truly underway. All of a sudden, the Marquee takes on the aura of a Berlin club. Tonight’s ticketholders are truly in store for something very special.

A spellbinding gig from the much-loved duo makes this gig a standout at this year's LATM. Their blend of early noughties-style techno blended with a new era remix brings something new to the ever-evolving electronic scene.

On the way home, Centre Park Road remains filled with a heartwarming energy, with hours of extraordinary talent marking the perfect celebration for the June bank holiday weekend.

It may have taken seven years for them to return, but tonight’s unforgettable duo are sure to be welcomed backed to Cork soon with open arms.
