The high-stakes dash around the globe continues. The teams must navigate the full length of Thailand to reach the next checkpoint — Koh Phi Phi — an archipelago of islands immortalised by the Hollywood blockbuster movie The Beach.

Seventeen-year-old Columba McVeigh went missing on Halloween night 1975. As a vulnerable teenager, he had fallen foul of both the British and Irish in the North during a difficult time of the Troubles. In 1998, the IRA admitted to abducting and murdering a group of people called ‘The Disappeared’. Columba was named as one of the victims.

Eurovision Song Contest 2024: Second semi-final

It’s back to Malmö for the second semi final — where the winners will hopefully be joining Bambie Thug in Saturday’s decider.

The Final Attack On Wembley

Netflix, Wednesday 

It was supposed to be a showcase for European soccer. Instead, the delayed European Championship final, held at Wembley in London in 2021, descended into dangerous farce with 6,000 fans storming the ground. It was a disaster and an embarrassment for UK authorities – and is now the subject of a new documentary.

Prepare to feel your toes curl as Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company debuts a drama set in a small West Cork town called...Bodkin? Starring Will Forte and Siobhán Cullen, it promises to interrogate our obsession with true crime documentaries - though whether that’s sufficient to cut through the blarney remains to be seen.
