Michael Twomey has a vivid memory of being taken by his father to see Clint Eastwood in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly on his first visit to what was then Horgan’s cinema.

He also remembers The Deer Hunter, Rebel Without a Cause, Jaws, and indeed making cinema visits in his home town of Youghal “habitually, every Sunday, regardless of what was on”.
