A harp duet ‘Air to St Finbarr’ was performed in the President’s Garden in University College Cork (UCC) this morning to mark St Finbarr’s Da, the feast day of the saint so identified with Cork.

“The cult of St Finbarr in Cork had more to do with church politics than historical fact,” says UCC Emeritus Professor Pádraig Ó Riain.
