Alarming. But brilliant.

This toddler had a brilliant response when faced with a moral dilemma

There's a famous thought experiment called the Trolley problem, which usually goes like this:

"A runaway trolley is barrelling down the tracks. Ahead are five people tied up on the track unable to move. You are standing some distance away next to a lever. If you pull it, the train will be diverted . However, there is another person standing on the other set of tracks who will certainly be killed if you do pull the lever. What do you do?"

Most people would pull the lever but the ethics of that decision have been debated for years.

E.J. Masicampo is a psychology professor who teaches a class on moral psychology and he decided to see how his toddler would react to the problem.

The two-year-old had a… different approach.

Uh-oh indeed.
