Brexit caused a spike in online searches for 'Irish passport'

And lots of Irish people are (jokingly?) offering marriage to those who want one.

In the wake of Brexit, there has been a significant increase in the amount of British people searching for information on how to get an Irish passport.

Google Trends tweeted a graphic showing a 100% spike in searches for 'Irish passport', beginning at around 4am this morning as news trickled in of the referendum result.
