Humpback whale puts on a spectacle for visitors to Alaska marina

Still waters run deep. Deep enough for a whale it seems.

Visitors to the Knudson Cove Marina in Alaska were treated to an up-close-and-personal encounter with a massive humpback whale on Monday.

The footage filmed by Captain Cy Williams of Strike Zone Sportfishing shows the deceptively calm waters right by the dock before the whale makes a dramatic sudden appearance - to the delight of those watching.
