The folks at Facts decided to ask some Irish folks to try and translate German words - like Kunst, which raises some eyebrows, or gute fahrt, which causes grown adults to snicker.

But the funny-sounding words are only the beginning of the majesty of German. Their idioms are just the best.

The German for giving one's opinion (or "two cents") is "seinen Senf dazu geben" which means to add one's mustard.
