Video: 18-wheeler smashed apart by freight train

This 18-wheeler lorry became stranded at a crossing in the New Orleans town of Mer Rouge - and then got split in half.

A freight train already approaching the crossing struck the vehicle at high speed, splitting the vehicle in half and derailing both train engines and 17 of the locomotive's 87 cars.
