Cat holds family hostage, police called to scene

A mother and daughter were trapped in a bedroom - by their pet cat, Cuppy.

A woman and her (adult) daughter were forced to call the police after they were taken hostage - by their pet cat.

According to police in southern California, the pair made the 911 call after they were forced to take refuge in a bedroom as Cuppy the cat would attack them whenever they tried to leave.
