Clarkson manages to upset Twitter followers, while asleep

Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has apologised “profusely” after a photograph was posted on his Twitter account showing him sleeping next to a piece of paper with an offensive message on it.

The image, which appeared on his online account, followed by 2.8 million people, appeared to have been taken on a plane and showed a piece of paper with the words “gay c***” written on it and an arrow pointing towards Clarkson.
