World record domino structure is a knock-out
Build 'em up and knock 'em down!
This is a for dominoes – the tallest domino structure, in fact. Which contains 11,465 dominoes, and a total of 100,101 in a massive chain culminating in the destruction of the six-metre skyscraper.
It's pretty goddamn mesmerising. And, even better, at about 2:00 there's a person who has to build a bridge by hand to fill a gap before the dominoes get there - or else the whole thing fails.
The drama!
You can't stop watching, can you? The pictures made all the way through are different landmarks in Austria. The whole thing took five months of planning, and 50 students building the chain for four days.
Madness. And that emotion when the final tower falls - sheer joy.
Even more impressive is that out of the 100,101 dominoes used, 100,080 of them toppled – only 21 failed to tumble (and none of those 21 were the important ones).
