Lidl showcases sense of humour

Ross O'Carroll Kelly probably wasn't expecting this reaction from Lidl when he decided to slate what he terms their "knock off Leinster jerseys".
@RossOCK ah Ross, easier ways to get your hands on some of our provincial gear than kicking Mila out and stealing hers!

On the other hand you can see why Lidl took this interpretation from O'Carroll Kelly's tweet.
I mean Mila Kunis looks well in anything right?
However by lunch time Lidl decided the subtle approach wasn't working with the comedic.
The deceptive art of 'double sarcasm' always works a treat.
@RossOCK take it you don't want any freebies so Ross? We can sew some stars and all on especially for you....

O'Carroll Kelly didn’t respond though, instead he decided to pick a new fight.
And to be fair to him you can see why he chose this battle.
After all it's very difficult to win style wars when you're defending crocs.
Is this more of your devil's work, @lidl_ireland? pic.twitter.com/J4GTuYEgCp

@RossOCK in Leinster blue and all for you!

Our headline originally read:
'Lidl showcase limited edition sense of humour'

However we have since been informed by Lidl that there is nothing limited about their sense of humour.
We stand corrected and look forward to more banter from the Lidl twitter account in the future.
@breakingnewsie and btw nothing limited about our sense of humour :)

@breakingnewsie thanks for the clarification, couldn't have people thinking we were only funny some of the time
