How the Fresh Prince proves Google Translate is undependable
In case you had not already realised, Google Translate is not the most reliable tool on the internet.
But to add further proof, comedy rappers CDZA – who we reckon have WAY too much free time to have come up with this idea in the first place - have taken one of the most famous theme tunes of all-time, the title track for the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and translated it through all 64 languages on Google Translate.
Although the video was only published yesterday, it has already gone viral with a quarter of a million views and counting.
With lines such as ‘Next week is not good economic problems’, it’s fair to say that beyond basic phrases, Translate is of no use for accurate interpretations.
Take a look – especially the final minute – to see the uselessness of it all for yourself.
