Barlow says no to 'X Factor' US trip

Barlow has refused to film Judge's Houses in the US.

Gary Barlow has refused to film 'The X Factor' Judge's Houses in the US.

The judge's wife Dawn is expecting the couple's fourth child next month and while Gary travelled to Los Angeles last year to film the show, he has ruled out the show bosses plans to send him to New York for the new series because he is worried about missing the birth.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Gary's daughter is due to arrive at exactly the same time as Judge's Houses are set to be filmed.

"Gary is really torn - he wants to be with his acts but he knows he can't miss his daughter's birth.

"You could see Gary making a hospital dash on the show. This really is reality TV."

Last year Gary's Take That bandmate Robbie Williams helped mentor his acts in LA but this year he too could be ruled out because his wife is also expecting.

The source added: "It's all about keeping the wives happy."

Gary and fellow judges Tulisa Contostavlos, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger are currently filming Boot Camp and will today find out which category they have been given.
