Brand asked Perry to cut clips from film

Russell Brand asked that any footage involving his relationship with Katy Perry be kept out of the final edit of her new film.

The comedian - who filed for divorce from Katy last December - requested that scenes in her concert movie 'Part of Me' would not focus on their marriage, which has since failed.
