Country singer Brooks wins a million from hospital

Country singer Garth Brooks has won a million-dollar lawsuit against a hospital that failed to build a women’s health centre in honour of his late mother.

Integris Canadian Valley Regional Hospital in Yukon, Oklahoma, must pay Brooks $1m, jurors ruled.
