Radcliffe's parents initially turned down Potter role

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has revealed his mum and dad initially turned down the role for him.

They feared the Londoner would spend too much time in Hollywood filming and it would affect his schooling.

His parents relented when they moved filming to England. The 22-year-old has since gone on to make eight Potter movies and is now a multi-millionaire.
