Tentative plans for a meeting between Israel’s prime minister and visiting teenage pop star Justin Bieber have been called off, officials said today.

Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said Bieber’s representatives had raised the idea of a meeting and the Israeli leader “was open” to the possibility.
