'X Factor' hopeful Byrne loses voice

The 50-year-old singer Mary Byrne has been struck down by a throat infection, while has left her unable to sing, so she is off to see a doctor in the hope she can recover in time for Saturday’s 'X Factor'.

A source said: “She could not even finish rehearsing her song yesterday. She is off to the doctor to try and get it all sorted.”
