Mary Byrne's 'X Factor' success has been called a "fix" after mass voting from her Tesco colleagues.

The Irish supermarket worker has faced criticism from fans of the show after bosses at the store she works at emailed 300,000 staff members to remind them to pick up the telephone and support her.
